Pricing
About

A location platform with one published rule.

The rule: every paid rate is HERE Technologies' published list price multiplied by 0.5. It is checkable, it is tested in our build, and it is the reason this site does not have a contact form where the prices should be.

HERE list price × 0.5 · reconciled 2026-07-27

How the price works

Data we license rather than own

The road graph and address data come from open sources plus commercial feeds licensed per region. We do not run a global survey fleet, which is the single largest cost HERE carries and the reason their deepest coverage tiers stay theirs.

No field sales

There is no quota-carrying sales organisation, no regional VP structure and no procurement cycle to fund. The rate card does the selling, which is only possible because it is published.

One product, ten meters

A single API surface with one auth model and one bill. Most of the cost in enterprise location platforms is the surface area of everything they have acquired and must keep alive.

What we give up

  • No embedded automotive stack and no lane-level HD maps
  • No indoor venue mapping
  • Thinner coverage outside metro areas in parts of Africa and South-East Asia
  • A young company: the SLA carries credits, not a decade of references

How we operate

Publish the number

Prices, latency, coverage levels and limits are on the site. If a figure is modelled rather than measured, it says so.

Twelve months to leave

Deprecations get a year of notice and a Sunset header. Migration guides point outwards as well as inwards.

No surprise bills

Spend caps return 429 rather than an invoice. Free allowances are the ones HERE publishes, unchanged.

Say what is worse

Every product page lists what it does not do. A comparison that only flatters us is not a comparison.
